ミス フィリピーナ2008 インタービューで赤っ恥 英語喋れず
この映像、フィリピン国内で開催されたミス フィリピーナ（フィリピン一の美人）のコンテストの模様。
ミス フィリピーナに選ばれたJanina San Miguel はその容姿と美貌はさすが選ばれただけはある。と褒めたいところではあるが、実は彼女、ミス フィリピーナに選ばれたことで有名になったのではなく、彼女がのインタビューの質問に答えたときの英語があまりにも下手！？だったのに会場のオーディンエンスは大盛り上がり。
そしてそのインタビューがとても印象的ということで、フィリピン国内メディアが彼女を違う意味で有名にしたという面白い話だ。
ちなみに彼女はまだ17歳、現在フィリピンの大学に通う普通の学生とのこと。
フィリピンと言えば、韓国や日本からも英語留学先の1つとして認知されているのは周知の通りだが、英語を堪能に話すことで知られているフィリピンだけに大学生のレベルがこの程度とはチョットビックリだ。
